Intellectual Property & DMCA

TeeMost respects intellectual property rights and expects the same of everyone who uses this site. This page explains how to report material you believe infringes your rights, and how to respond if your material has been removed.

Our position

We do not knowingly sell products that infringe another party's copyright or trademark. Where we are notified of a valid claim, we remove the listing promptly and, where appropriate, terminate the account responsible.

Reporting an infringement

If you own a copyright or trademark and believe material on teemost.com infringes it, send a written notice to [email protected] with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line.

Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, your notice must include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the rights owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark you claim has been infringed
  • The specific URL or URLs of the material you are asking us to remove, in enough detail for us to locate it
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act on their behalf

Incomplete notices cannot be actioned. If yours is missing something, we will tell you what.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge your notice, normally within 2 business days
  • Valid claims result in the material being removed or disabled, usually within 5 business days
  • We notify the party who supplied the material and pass on a copy of your notice
  • Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] with "DMCA Counter-Notice" in the subject line, containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address and telephone number
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live — or, if outside the United States, for any district in which we may be found — and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice

On receiving a valid counter-notice we forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the material.

A warning about false claims

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — makes you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please be sure of your claim before filing.

Trademark complaints

Trademark claims follow the same process. Please include your registration number and the jurisdiction in which the mark is registered.
